Directions: BRUSHING: Always start at the head and brush to the tail, in the direction of hair growth . Use caution when using the wire brush on and around sensitive skin areas. CLIPPING NAILS: Hold your pet's foot and use your thumb to gently press the base of the nailto extend it slightly. Trim the nail at a 45-degree angle so it is flush with the floor when your pet walks. Be cautious of the blood vessel or quick (pink in color), in each nail and trim only the nail tip. The quick may be difficult to see in dark nails. Avoid cutting nails too short as bleeding may occur. If you cut the quick, apply a coagulant to help stop the bleeding. It is recommended that you trim your pet's nails every 4-6 weeks.
